Who Is a Candidate for All-on-4?
All-on-4 may be an excellent option for patients who:
- Have lost most or all of their teeth in the upper or lower jaw
- Are struggling with loose, uncomfortable dentures
- Have sufficient bone density in specific areas of the jaw for implant placement
- Want a long-term, fixed solution that restores confidence and oral function
Even if you’ve been told you don’t have enough bone for traditional implants, All-on-4 may still be possible because the implants are placed at angles to maximise contact with your existing bone.
What to Expect During the Procedure
Your comfort is our priority every step of the way. The All-on-4 process typically happens in a single day and includes:
- Consultation and Planning — We begin with a thorough examination, digital scans and discussion about your goals. Together, we create a treatment plan that’s right for you.
- Sedation and Comfort Options — We offer multiple comfort options, including nitrous oxide, oral sedation, local anaesthetic and twilight sedation administered by a qualified anaesthetist.
- Implant Placement — Four implants are carefully positioned into your jawbone at precise angles for maximum stability.
- Immediate Teeth — A custom bridge is often attached to the implants the same day, so patients can leave with a fully restored smile. *Results and timing vary per patient.
- Healing and Final Restoration — Over the next few months, the implants integrate with the jawbone. Once healing is complete, we replace the temporary bridge with custom-crafted teeth.
