What Are Dental Bridges?
A dental bridge in Beaudesert replaces one or more missing teeth by filling in the gap with an artificial tooth (or teeth) anchored to the surrounding natural teeth or dental implants. Bridges not only restore your smile’s appearance but also prevent surrounding teeth from shifting out of place, which can lead to further dental problems.
What the Process Is Like
At BDF Dental, we want restoring your smile with a crown or bridge to feel simple, comfortable, and stress-free.
- Traditional Crowns — For traditional crowns, the process usually involves shaping the tooth, taking impressions and placing a temporary crown while your permanent one is made at a dental lab. Once it’s ready, we fit and cement the final crown in place.
- CEREC Same-Day Crowns — Using advanced digital scanning, we create a precise 3-D model of your tooth—no messy impression trays required. Then, our in-house milling machine creates your custom ceramic crown right away. Patients can leave their appointments with a strong, natural-looking crown in just one visit.
- Dental Bridges — Getting a bridge usually takes two visits. In the first, we prepare the teeth on either side of the gap and take impressions. A temporary bridge is placed to protect your smile while the final version is crafted. At your second appointment, we fit and secure your custom bridge, ensuring it feels comfortable and looks seamless.
Throughout every step, our team focuses on your comfort. From gentle anaesthetic to TVs in treatment rooms, we make sure your experience is as smooth and reassuring as possible.
