CEREC Primescan and Primemill
At BDF Dental, CEREC is our chairside scanning and milling workflow for selected restorative treatments. Primescan captures detailed 3-D digital impressions, while Primemill mills restorations from dental ceramic or zirconia blocks.
This is different from 3D printing: milling shapes a restoration from a solid block, while printing builds selected dental appliances, models or guides layer by layer.
Panoramic X-Ray
A panoramic x-ray provides a full view of your teeth, jaw and surrounding structures, helping us detect issues that may not be visible during a standard exam.
